Hi, I’m Madeline
I create art from a sense of joy and wonder at the world around us. Much of my inspiration comes from nature and my children. We recently relocated to West Virginia, and have spent the summer learning about the flora and fauna, using it in art and marveling that so much is in our own backyard. The gladiolus in flower language references “inner strength.”
As a mom, I find myself drawn to this flower. It is sturdy, beautiful, and may be many different colors. The blooms grow in groups on one stalk. It says “I will stand tall, be myself, and surround myself with others who will be strong and uplifting.”
