Madeline Hanlon

Founder & Artist

Growing up, Madeline was surrounded by opportunities to pursue the arts. She learned any and every art and artisan craft for which she could find a teacher, from drawing and sewing to beaded embroidery. At age 12, she found a woodburning (pyrography) kit with a very basic pyrography pen. That discovery would become the inspiration, years later, that would lead to the creation of Aisling Guitars.

Along the road, Madeline found passions for music and teaching, which she studied in college. She now teaches elementary and middle school music while pursuing her love for art through Aisling Guitars.

Sean Hanlon

Founder & Musician

Beginning at the age of 7, Sean's passion for music, especially for guitar, was easy to see. For years, he took classical guitar lessons, excelling at the instrument. Though he took several years away from guitar, he came back with renewed passion.

Sean is constantly searching for new ways to create the best tones on electric and acoustic guitars. That search has given him a huge amount of knowledge about the sounds of different tone woods, pickups, etc. He very much enjoys discovering new makers and sharing that knowledge with others who are passionate about guitar.
