“Luna y Sol”

In collaboration with Master Builder Jason Smith, Fender Custom Shop.

Part of the Prestige Collection at Winter NAMM 2019, this guitar started with the red star inlaid neck. From there, we knew we wanted to take a folk art direction. We found our fit in Mexican folk art, and carried the celestial stars onto the body, paired with a moon and sun motif.

The outline and background texture is hand-burned with a pyrography pen. The color is an acrylic wash.
